Jordan is a Colorado native currently living in Seattle bringing to life beautiful mixed media creations, illustrations, and stick and poke tattoos.

I started my art brand, originally called “Zounds Designs” over a decade ago in 2011 when I was living in a turn of the century house on the edge of an old shipping canal in Portage, Wisconsin. Originally a blog with a design and DIY focus as I have evolved so has my brand. After two years in Wisconsin, I moved back to Colorado and my passion for graphic design became a major focus of my blog and the site began to function as a portfolio as well.

Over the course of the last 10 years I have dabbled in creating content of various forms, I started a YouTube channel for mixed media art journalling, I found vintage all natural recipes for hair and beauty products and reviewed them, I restored a 1940’s Singer 15-90 sewing machine and published an ebook on the process. Cataloging and sharing my creative endeavors has been the most consistent part of my design career.

In 2018 I moved to the heart of downtown Seattle, and although I still used “Zounds Designs” for freelance work, I documented my latest project (creating a hand drawn tarot deck) via my Instagram account. I opened an online store to sell the completed deck, and other art related goods.

In 2021 I started a journey to learn stick and poke tattooing, and once again my brand has evolved with me. Now in 2022 I’ve rebranded again to Upside Down Clouds, a new name to encompass my tattooing, art, and content creation.
